Calling a Plan a Map.

At the foot of Mt.Fuji and Enoshima is this funny wee place. Designed and implemented by On Design, a mad collection of 22 huts and funny wee boxed on legs come together to for a small home on a grass area of 650sqm.





The architect is calling this plan a map with the idea that this place will evolve over time as a map does. I kinda like this because the resident can build and develop their own living space in a peter pan fantasy type of way and maybe be perfectly aligned with the seasons. How much fun it will be in the dead of a wet winter trudging through mud to the bathroom hut I'm not sure, but these guys don't have to worry about that till next year. Until then, lets never grown old...
