Friday Dork-fest and your Fear of Falling from a Great Height.

Happy Friday.

I wanted to share this delightful article I read this morning. That sent me down a rabbit hole of dork.

Super Mario Maker hit 6 million user made courses in February. Now anyone can make their own levels for the iconic game but in this post Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka (also inventor of all my all time fav Legend of Zelda), explaining how they designed the original Super Mario Brothers: on graph paper. They tell the Archdaily that their ability to develop every stage of the game with paper and pencil in great detail is what made Super Mario so successful at the time.

You can watch them talk about this a bit more at the last Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 2015).
