Guerrilla Cyclists of Seattle

I was reading this pleasant but not terribly exciting article about environments effecting peoples health and all the rest of it. It mentions this weeks Seattle Design festival and the cities new cycling infrastructure, INSTALLED BY GUERRILLAS!

No, not apes, but anonymous peoples. A group called The Reasonably Polite Seattleites installed some temporary pylons and sent a nice email outlining what and why they did it. Instead of being an arse like most city officials Dongho Chang send an equally polite email back apologizing that the council had to remove the pylons. THEN Cheng went ahead and replaced the removed pylons actual permanent safety buffers.

Boom, faith in people restored! Happy Friday.
