I really enjoyed this review of the 39th Mac Mag by James Taylor Foster
The Mac Mag is a student edited annual collection of essays, projects and ideas generated by the architecture school at Glasgow School of Art. It has been a turbulent year for the school with the opening of the new Stephen Holl building and the fire in the mac building and the tone of the book appears to reflect upon the perceptions and understandings of space and place.
You can read it online but I would strongly recommend picking up a copy because, if nothing else, very few things beat the quality of the paper stock in this production.
